Trouble (2) (やっかいごと②, Yakkai-goto?) is the second part of the 135th chapter of the To Your Eternity manga.
Summary[]
Mizuha shows up late to her and Fushi's date. Mizuha is all dressed up while Fushi is in his regular attire. She overhears some people poking fun of Fushi's outdated clothes, so Mizuha decides the first thing they're gonna do on their date is go clothes shopping.
At a clothes shop, Mizuha asks if Fushi is feeling better since he hasn't been to school since the day he passed out (in actuality he was battling the imposter Mimori). She tells him she knows he wasn't sick since Tonari told her he hasn't been home since then either. Although Fushi tells her he's fine and explains that he just didn't want anyone to see him down, he's been concerned about the Nokker Mimori. He's been sleeping outside just in case the imposter comes back to attack him but is conflicted because the real Mimori told him not to fight her. He's also still upset about Satoru not helping him out. These thoughts affirm to him that the world would be better without Nokkers. Mizuha sees right through him and tells him to tell her about his worries. Fushi shrugs her off and asks if she picked out the clothes she wanted yet. It turns out Mizuha just wanted to buy new clothes for Fushi.
They head out and Fushi asks if it's really alright for him to keep the clothes. Mizuha assures him it's alright as her mother raised her allowance. Fushi asks about her (imposter) mother and Mizuha tells him she's been really nice and things at home have been so peaceful that it's almost scary. Fushi thinks to himself that it can't be real peace as there must be a reason why the Nokkers are controlling Izumi's body.
While they're walking, Mizuha points out that all the girls are checking him out because they think he's handsome. She tells him he should always dress like that and blushes.
Suddenly, Sumika comes up to them and starts angrily yelling at Fushi for hurting Satoru. She tells him she's been looking for him since. Fushi explains that he didn't hurt Satoru on purpose but then is stunned when he realizes Satoru's actually injured. Sumika shakes him around telling him to quit playing dumb as Satoru has a giant lump and cut on his head. Sumika cries as she tells Fushi that she was so happy when she thought her quiet little Satoru finally made some friends, but then it turns out Fushi hurt him. Fushi laughs and says, "of course that anti-social jerk can't make friends!" This enrages Sumika and she gives him a taste of his own medicine and shoves Fushi into a store display.
Sumika explains to Fushi that when the orphanage took Satoru in, they found him out in the rain all by himself and he couldn't even say his name. When she gave him a bath and made a meal for him, he made a surprised face and commented how he's never experienced something like that in his life. She realized Satoru must've grown up without love as he couldn't tell her where he was from or who his parents were. Sumika then decided to give him a fresh start at life and named him "Satoru." She then decided to fill his life with love... until Fushi came along.
Fushi laughs once more at her story saying that Satoru isn't like that at all and that she's wasting her time, which once again enrages her. Mizuha stands up for Fushi and tries to fight Sumika. Realizing she's no match, Mizuha pulls Fushi up and the two run away together as Sumika chases them.
After they turn a corner, Mizuha tells Fushi to transform quick. Sumika catches up to Mizuha and asks where Fushi went and Mizuha points her in a random direction. Sumika runs off and Mizuha happily tells Fushi (now in Mia's form) that she actually protected him.
